I was reminded of a lullaby I wrote years ago called Cherry Blossom. It’s so hot out today and all the birds are singing. On June 18, 2016, Lana posted a now-deleted short video of her singing an acapella version of the song on her Instagram with the caption of: Both songs were originally intended for the 2014 album Ultraviolence and ended up on the 2021 album Blue Banisters. The track, that leaked on May 1, 2019, was written back in 2013 by Lana and her long time collaborator Rick Nowels and comes from the same session as “Nectar of the Gods”. “Cherry Blossom” is a song from Lana Del Rey’s eighth studio album, Blue Banisters.
